Becoming a mother is supposed to be a way of rebirth for women,
a way to achieve a kind of “wholeness” and join the great circle of life…
Thus, if those who can’t have children are pitied,
those who choose not to give birth are misunderstood and even despised.
What does motherhood/non-motherhood say about our womanhood? Do we have to give life to succeed in life?
Can we break the process of intergenerational transmission but at what cost?
